Groove Type Melt Blown Filter Cartridge

Deep slots across the cartridge surface significantly increase the effective filtration area, giving this grooved design more than 3× the dirt holding capacity of the standard PLM-PP. The expanded surface also lowers initial pressure drop and increases throughput, making it the preferred choice for filtering liquids with high debris or sediment content. Available across all standard micron ratings and lengths in Pullner’s melt blown filter cartridges range.

Applications

The groove type melt blown filter cartridge is designed for liquid filtration applications with high particulate or sediment loads:

Food & Beverage: Filtration of alcohol, beverages, and drinking water
Pharmaceutical: Pre-filtration of injections, liquid medicines, large infusions, and antibiotics
Water Treatment: RO membrane pre-filtration, industrial process water, municipal water
Electronics: Pre-filtration of pure water and ultra-pure water
Petroleum & Chemical: Filtration of organic solvents, acids, alkalis, and oilfield water injection
