Filter bags are simple to run, but on a high flow line they load fast and are changed often. A pleated element packs more media into the housing space a bag occupies, and that is the reason to consider switching. Pullner's pleated high flow cartridge for this duty is designed to replace bag filters.

Media is deep pleated or melt polypropylene in grades from 0.1–100 µm. The element is 6" (152.4 mm) in diameter with a single open end, in 330 mm and 660 mm lengths, and carries 100–200 GPM. It is rated to a maximum differential pressure of 3.44 bar at 21°C and a temperature limit of 80°C, with seals in silicone, NBR, Viton or EPDM.
