Filter Cartridges

Pullner produces seven cartridge product lines visible on this hub page: high flow cartridges, pleated cartridges (polypropylene and glass-fiber), string wound depth filters, membrane cartridges, melt blown cartridges, all-stainless-steel cartridges, and photoresist filter elements for semiconductor applications. Beyond these, Pullner also manufactures PES (polyethersulfone), PTFE, polyester, capsule, wrapped, liquid-liquid coalescing, gas-liquid coalescing, water-removal-for-oil, and power-plant condensate cartridges. All production runs in our ISO 9001 certified 15,200 m² facility with Class 100, 1,000, and 10,000 cleanrooms.

The micron rating should match the smallest particle size you need to remove. Common targets: 5 µm for RO membrane pre-filtration, 1 µm for fine industrial process water, 0.2 µm for sterile-grade applications, and sub-micron for ultrapure water polishing in microelectronics. Coarser ratings (25–100 µm) are used for pre-filters protecting downstream finer cartridges. Pullner manufactures direct replacement cartridges for major industry brands including Pall, Parker, CUNO, 3M, HYDAC, Donaldson, Jonell, and Peco, using industry-standard end-cap configurations and standard 10″, 20″, 30″, and 40″ cartridge lengths. Cartridges drop directly into existing housings from these brands without modification. Send us your current cartridge part number and we’ll quote a like-for-like replacement.

Depth filtration uses the entire thickness of the media to capture particles throughout the cartridge — string wound, melt blown, and high flow cartridges work this way and offer high dirt-holding capacity. Surface filtration captures particles on a thin membrane layer, providing absolute retention at a defined micron rating but holding less dirt — pleated and membrane cartridges work this way. Depth filters typically last longer between change-outs; surface filters give cleaner effluent at a defined particle size.

Yes. Pullner has full in-house injection-molding capability for PFA skeletons and end caps, PBT (polyester) end caps and frames, glass-fiber-reinforced end caps and frames, and PP capsule shells. Custom services include non-standard lengths and diameters, special end-cap configurations, custom media combinations, private-label branding with logo placement on frames or end caps, and rapid 3D-printed prototyping for non-standard skeletons. Pullner’s high-flow cartridge series is engineered for high-volume single-cartridge filtration in pre-RO, cooling water, condensate polishing, and seawater intake duty. Flow rate per cartridge varies by diameter, media type, micron rating, and feed-water turbidity — sizing charts are available on each product page.
