Matte Melt Blown Filter Cartridge, PLM Series
The matte melt blown cartridge uses a PP cotton thread outer layer that intercepts particles at the surface, reducing deep-bed clogging and extending service life. It combines surface interception with gradient density depth filtration for strong pollutant-holding capacity across its full wall thickness.

Unlike other melt blown surface variants which modify the geometry of the PP fibre structure itself, the matte cartridge adds a distinct PP cotton thread layer on the outer surface. This outer layer acts as a coarse pre-filter: larger particles are trapped here before they reach the depth filtration zone, delaying differential pressure build-up and extending the service life of the inner depth filtration wall. This makes it particularly effective on liquids with a wide, unpredictable distribution of particle sizes.
