High Temperature Resistant Filter Element

Polypropylene is rated to 80 °C and loses differential pressure capability well before it gets there. The standard workaround on a hot line is to oversize the housing and change elements more often. That is a cost, not a fix, and it hides a second problem: a pleat pack that relaxes under heat loses effective area, so the stage stops behaving predictably.

The PBT element is polyester, rated to 120 °C. It holds its pleat geometry at temperature, which means differential pressure rises smoothly instead of stepping. It uses the same 2.7″ (69 mm) body, the same 10″ to 40″ lengths and the same DOE and SOE end cap patterns as a standard cartridge, so it drops straight into existing housings.
