Elemento filtrante resistente a altas temperaturas
Polypropylene is rated to 80 °C and loses differential pressure capability well before it gets there. The standard workaround on a hot line is to oversize the housing and change elements more often. That is a cost, not a fix, and it hides a second problem: a pleat pack that relaxes under heat loses effective area, so the stage stops behaving predictably.
The PBT element is polyester, rated to 120 °C. It holds its pleat geometry at temperature, which means differential pressure rises smoothly instead of stepping. It uses the same 2.7″ (69 mm) body, the same 10″ to 40″ lengths and the same DOE and SOE end cap patterns as a standard cartridge, so it drops straight into existing housings.

The swap needs no housing change and no re-plumbing. Where a stage is currently being nursed through hot duty on oversized PP, this is usually a straight substitution with a longer interval and a more predictable pressure curve.
An element rated to 120 °C behind a seal rated to 90 °C is a stage rated to 90 °C. On high-temperature duty the seal is frequently the lower of the two, and it is the component that gets specified by habit.
Four seals are offered — Silicone, NBR, Viton and EPDM. On hot hydrocarbon service Viton is the usual specification. Confirm it against the fluid and the working temperature together, because compatibility that holds at ambient does not necessarily hold at 120 °C.
