High Temperature High Flow Filter Element, PHFLH Series

Hot water and hot process liquid lines are hard on standard cartridges: media softens, pleats deform and flow channels through the element. The PHFLH is a high-flow element built from high-temperature media for continuous hot-liquid service, so one element carries a large share of the line's flow.

Two media are offered. Glass fiber is rated to 121°C and polyester to 120°C, each with a maximum differential pressure of 3.44 bar at that temperature. Micron ratings run from 0.1 µm to 100 µm. The element has a 6" (152.4 mm) outside diameter, a single open end (SOE) and 20", 40" or 60" lengths, with a flow rate of 50–200 GPM. Seals are offered in Silicone, NBR, Viton or EPDM. Confirm the seal against the fluid at operating temperature, because the seal can set a lower limit than the media.

It can be reviewed as a replacement option. The PHFLH has a 6" (152.4 mm) outside diameter, a single open end and 20", 40" or 60" lengths. Send the current element model and housing details, and Pullner confirms dimensional fit before recommending a change.

How is it validated before switching?

Validation runs in three steps: a fit check against your housing and current element, a sample on your own line, and a performance trial under your operating conditions. Pullner does not claim performance parity with an incumbent element until that trial data exists, and a switch is recommended only after the trial.

What data or documentation is available?
