Glass Fiber High Flow Filter Cartridge, PHFL Series
This is the glass fiber version of Pullner’s PHFL high flow cartridge, for hot water treatment and hot process water where polypropylene’s 82°C limit is too low. Glass fiber media is rated to 121°C with a maximum differential pressure of 3.44 bar at that temperature. Micron ratings run 0.1–100 µm, and each 6″ (152.4 mm) single-open-end element handles 50–200 GPM in 20″, 40″ or 60″ lengths. Seals are silicone, NBR, Viton or EPDM. Compared with small glass fiber filter elements, the large diameter carries a high flow on fewer elements. Send your fluid, temperature, flow and current model for a fit check and quote.

Glass fiber is the media to specify when water or process liquid runs hotter than polypropylene can take. In the PHFL series, PP is rated to 82°C. Glass fiber carries the same 3.44 bar maximum differential pressure up to 121°C, which makes it the choice for hot water treatment and hot process streams where a PP element would run outside its rating.
The element is a 6" (152.4 mm) diameter high flow cartridge with a single open end, in 20", 40" and 60" lengths. Flow is 50–200 GPM per element, so a small number of large elements can carry a stream that would otherwise need a bank of small-diameter cartridges and a larger housing. Micron ratings run 0.1–100 µm, and seals are silicone, NBR, Viton or EPDM.
Within Pullner cartuchos filtrantes de alto caudal, the same PHFL format is built in polypropylene for ambient and warm water and in polyester for service to 120°C. Choose media on temperature first, then set the grade. For hot water circuits in generating plants, see Pullner power plant filtration. Send your fluid, temperature, flow and current housing, and engineering will confirm fit before quotation.
Características principales
- Glass fiber media — rated to 121°C at a maximum differential pressure of 3.44 bar.
- Micron range — 0.1–100 µm.
- Housing format — 6" (152.4 mm) OD with a single open end (SOE).
- Length options — 20", 40" and 60".
- Flow — 50–200 GPM per element.

Aplicaciones
- Hot water treatment — high flow filtration where the feed runs above PP's 82°C limit.
- Hot process water and liquids — side-stream and full-flow filtration in industrial plants, liquid service only.
- Power plant water circuits — hot water and condensate duty in generating plants.
- High flow prefiltration — large water streams handled on fewer 6" elements.
Who it is for
Water treatment system integrators, EPC contractors and plant O&M teams filtering water or process liquid above 82°C, where a polypropylene element would run outside its rating.

Obtener presupuesto · Request Sample · Send Current Model · Ask Engineering
Can it replace the high flow cartridges I run now?
If your housing takes a 6" (152.4 mm) single-open-end high flow element in 20", 40" or 60" lengths, the PHFL is a replacement option. Send your current model and housing details. Fit is confirmed by fit check and a sample before any order.
How is it validated before switching?
Start with a fit check on your housing and current model, then install a sample. Run it at your working temperature and log differential pressure, downstream quality and change-out interval against your current element. Scale the order after the trial.
What data or documentation is available?
The full specification is published on this page: media, micron rating, diameter, lengths, end cap, seals, flow, differential pressure and temperature limit. Pullner manufactures under ISO 9001. Tell engineering which documents your approval process needs and request them with the sample.
What are the temperature, pressure and chemistry limits?
Glass fiber media is rated to 121°C at a maximum differential pressure of 3.44 bar, and flow is 50–200 GPM per element. The element is for liquid service. Chemical compatibility with your fluid, including the seal choice, is reviewed before quotation.
When should I choose glass fiber filter elements over polypropylene?
When the liquid runs above 82°C, the polypropylene limit in the PHFL series. Glass fiber is rated to 121°C at the same 3.44 bar maximum differential pressure. For cooler duty, PP is the standard choice, and polyester covers service to 120°C.
